You heard of the song, "Bad Moon Rising..."?
Here I am beginning my annual three-day vacation - this year Virginia Beach.
Here is this morning's view from the balcony.
Good sun rising!
It's supposed to be uncommonly hot, extremely sunny, windless and calm.
I have my surfboard and I intend to float.
Nothing but float. Prone.
And prove, once again, that "waterproof" sunscreen does not work.

Good morning Jay,
Nice picture. Enjoy tour mini float vaction.
Make yourself a great day.
"Good day sunshine."
Where's the sun??? It must be overcast.
It's a good way to clear my head Raymond. And fill my ears with sea water.
Lenn - it's reflecting! The photo is a metaphor for what I intend to do on the water today. As John Sebastian said, "What a day for a daydream."
Have fun. You've earned a few days off.
Beautiful view. And waterproof sunscreen does work....when you apply it every half hour ;-)
Hi Jay! Enjoy your time away. We have family visiting starting later today, so we'll be having some fun over the weekend too!
Jay, relax and enjoy! No busman's holiday...I hope you left Mighty Mo at home!
Jay, Sounds relaxing and possibly painful! Have a great day and vacation!
Doing a lot of nothing Lenn. I float good.
Get real Suzanne. My Up & UP, sport, broad-spectrum, SPF 50-sunscreen doesn't need another application for 50 minutes.
Enjoy Donna! Franklin said that guests, family and fish begin to stink after three days. Words well spoken...
Tom - Mighty Mo is still weeping, inside his briefcase and sponge mold.
No pain, no gain T&D. But really, no pain.
Sounds like you chose a great location. Wish I was on one now. - Debbie
Good evening Jay. You can take a vacation? Sheesh! I am in the wrong business! Maybe I need to become a real estate agent.
When we come here we stay at a small boutique hotel Debbie. They know us. We schedule way in advance and get the same little unit with a kitchen and patio which overlooks the beach. The beach is 50 yards wide or so, so we are close enough to just listen to the waves.
Michael - they let me out for a brief period every year. But I am expected to work nonetheless. See my post today!
