What I'm Seeing Now

Let's Play "Where's Waldo!" Can You Find The Repair?

So, let's play "Where's Waldo!"  Can you find the repair?

It's not often that you can have fun like this.  The repair could be anywhere.  Waldo is such fun to find.  Those books kept my kids quiet in church for the entire time!  He sure is good at hiding!  So, look carefully for the repair, any repair.  It's not obvious, so look carefully!  I hope you have fun with this one.

So, where is it!?

In the roofing?

How about the flashing?

Maybe the siding?

Or the trim?

The tree?

Maybe there was no repair at all!

Can you find it?

My recommendation:  when you as for repairs to be made and you put on the addendum, "Repairs to be done in a professional manner by a licensed contractor," you can rest assured that it will be.  Yep, every time.

Did you find it?  Where is that Waldo anyway?

Can't tell about the tree but the trim, flashing and siding looks like they have either been repaired or someone did not do a good job on the installation.

Well, if you're sure James.  Look closely.

Good Grief.  What about ALL OF THE ABOVE???

Good morning, Jay. I like the "chop job" on the flashing too. What was their next trick?

It must be the tree, because I can see nothing that remotely looks like a professionally done repair on the house.

Hi Jay,

I say it's the siding. Looks like a hatchet job. Did they cover up the attic venting when they did the siding repair. Looks like the roof had been replaced in the past. You can see the "J" rail trim following the old roof line.

Have a great day and Easter in Bristow my friend.

Best, Clint McKie

Looks like the tree is coming through the roof...I say wow for innovation.  Kidding.

Can you find the repair?

Too funny Jay.

I often wondered, "Why is Waldo hiding?"

I see nothing. No gaping holes in the siding, no holes in the roof... what's the problem? Even Uncle Bob would have no problem wit dat!

I saw the same "repair" as most others - the siding and flashing.  Couldn't find any others.  Maybe because those repairs were so atrocious and caused more damage that repaired.

All - obviously this post is tongue-in-cheek.  The siding is horribly "repaired."  Other things follow.  This is my sarcasm coming through, obviously.

It's a mess all around Lenn, but they asked for the siding to be repaired "professionally."

This is the same house with the newly-installed-and-caulked windows in the previous post Michael!

It isn't Jim, but they did ask for the siding to be repaired.  This is a later visit!

No gable vent Clint!  Go figure!

It's really in a pot in the big bath tub Debbie.

Tom - I can hardly tell that the siding was repaired.  You too?

Fred - this is a classic repair.  So well done it's almost invisible!

Roger - nail hit on the head.  And a professional job, too!

Why waste money on siding when any old piece of sheet metal will work?  And who says that Flashing can't be made out of mis-matched shingles?

All that works Fred!  This guy is good!
