What I'm Seeing Now

Green Roof

I was surprised to see that Green has arrived to rural Virginia!  A fine example of a green roof:

It has been dry lately.  I think they need to water the garden...

Dinah Lee - I have seen the pictures!  While we don't have that here, this roof was a bit unusual to say the least...

Our county has taken bids on actually having grass put on the courthouse. It will include being mowed on a weekly basis. I personally think the world is self healing and will take care of it self.

Nice landscaping, but isn't it supposed to be on the ground?

Charles - I AGREE WITH YOU!  I was spoofing this silly craze.

James - not when it's on the roof, man!

Kathy - so it seems.  I think they could use a little more green to fix up that house!

Awesome !  I alwells felt these green roofs could be a maintenance problem in the future.

Jay, all it needs is a soaker hose to keep in going during the summer----then again you could just move it to the NW:

My moss can beat up your moss

Carl - I don't think that "garden" is intended...

Shadow - I bet Santa slips off that roof in December.  We don't have that out here, as you know, but I found this house on the way to an inspection and could not resist a picture.
